5-Year Strategic Plan Project

January 2017 – March 2017

The NCCT Board of Directors recognizes that the success and future sustainability of the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto is deeply rooted in the community. As such, the Centre, in partnership with Kevin V. Sandy Consulting, will be revising the Community Strategic Plan and creating opportunities for community engagement and feedback in the coming weeks.

Kevin V. Sandy Consulting will facilitate the strategic planning and implementation of the NCCT’s vision for the future. The main objective will be the development of a realistic 5-Year Strategic Plan to assist the Board of Director’s, Management and Staff in planning, organizing and identifying new opportunities and proposing innovative programming and services.

A series of Community Engagement opportunities has been scheduled from January 16 to January 23. These are casual, confidential conversations with our consultants. The core interview team members are Suzanne Spence, Cree, Fort Albany and Kevin Sandy, Cayuga, Wolf Clan, Six Nations. Suzanne and/or Kevin will be at the Centre during the time blocks listed below. In appreciation, individuals who participate in the community engagement process will receive a $5 Tim Horton Cards.

Monday January 16 Suzanne Spence 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Tuesday January 17 Kevin Sandy 10:00 am – 7:00 pm

Wednesday January 18 Suzanne Spence 10:00 am– 3:00 pm

Thursday January 19 Kevin Sandy 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Monday January 23 Suzanne Spence 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

The Consulting Team conducting the interviews respect the opinions of all participants and will not disclose any personal information. We assure you that the information gathered will be utilized for statistical and analysis purposes only and will be used to assist the Native Canadian Center of Toronto in creating a new path.
