Patricia Turner nee Salter
Pat, a proud Tuscarora woman/mother and grandmother of the Eel clan, left on her spirit journey Monday, October 19th, 2009 at Brantford Civic Hospital after a lengthy illness in her 71st year. Pat spent many years coordinating volunteers and organizing trips for the community. Through these efforts she built a wide circle of friends. At times she would lend out small amounts of money to Natives who were passing through Toronto and in need of a hand. Pat also volunteered with the Justice Circle for many years, and left a lasting impression wherever she went.
